- "Studia Ełckie" is a scientific journal about man, who is a relational being. ▪ The basic relation proper to man is the relation to himself. It is expressed in the conscious experience of one's own thoughts, desires and feelings. ▪ By transcending himself, man enters into relations with other people (individuals or various communities). ▪ Finally, by transcending both himself and the community, man establishes relations with the Absolute
- Publishing theoretical and empirical texts on personal, social and religious relationships contributes to a deeper understanding of man, both in his essence and in the social dimension. The interdisciplinary nature of the journal enables the publication of content that is the subject of studies undertaken in the field of humanities, social sciences, family sciences and theological sciences. Achievements in the field of humanities emphasize especially the relationship to oneself. Relationships to other people are explored primarily by social sciences and family sciences. On the other hand, theological sciences enable understanding the relationship to the Absolute
- The issue of man in the aspect of his relationality – undertaken in the area of the above-mentioned scientific fields – constitutes the profile of the journal
- The primary goal of the journal is to publish scientific articles that bring closer the understanding of man as a relational being. The journal then enables the exchange of thoughts and experiences, initiating scientific discussions on current problems concerning man (from the area of humanities, social sciences, theology and family sciences) and supporting young scientists in publishing the results of original scientific research
- In order to ensure high quality and originality of the presented research, the journal is an international undertaking. Thanks to the involvement and cooperation of intellectual communities (scientific council, editorial team, reviewers), the journal reaches an increasing number of Authors from all over the world
- Two issues per year (the first and the third) are thematic in nature, i.e. they present (and solve) a specific scientific problem from different perspectives
- In addition to scientific articles, it is possible to publish texts that qualify as historical materials, reports and reviews
- The journal operates in open access. Therefore, its reach has no limits, which allows Authors and Readers all over the world to use the published content
